Suicide Terrorism
More good news...
By the way a GREAT book to understand suicide terrorism I read it in Iraq.
Dying to Win: The Strategic Logic of Suicide Terrorism
The Book displays how suicide terrorism is more a response to nationalist feelings than religious motivations.
The majority of suicide terrorism is actually committed by the Tamil Tigers in Sri Lanka, who have been fighting to secede from the Sri Lankan government since the 70s

Intro...
Just to let you know about me, I am a Florida Int'l University student, a United States Marine reservist from Pembroke Pines, Fl, and an Iraq war veteran recently returned April 2007.
You'll probably find me slightly to the right but I consider myself open minded to new ideas.
I am disgusted with politicians and politics and the whole backstabbing, pork barreling , scratch my sack and I'll scratch yours political BS. There are only a few congressman who I can say I respect to any degree, and I can't think of one who is a democrat at this time.
I believe in the fight in Iraq and know first hand how much progress is being made in that country. In my 7 months over there I saw tremendous growth in the Iraqi Police (IPs) and Iraqi Army (IA). I have seen the pain that Al Qaeda and local insurgents (COMMON CRIMINALS, or desperately poor scum) have caused and the trust and appreciation in the common Iraqi for U.S. troops. It's not the huge policies that is making a difference its the small gestures of the individual troop showing steadfast reliability, unwavering support, and the genuine heartfelt caring of the American soldier.
